Backpack Society provides weekend student food bags, in-school snacks and groceries to local families with school-aged children facing food insecurity.
We spend approximately $12,000 every month purchasing food—including fresh produce, meat, eggs, dairy and pantry staples.

These are just the students officially enrolled in free or reduced lunch programs ~ but we know many more families struggle silently.
Some don’t qualify for assistance, others are too proud or afraid to ask for help.
At Backpack Society, we see them all. Your support helps us fill the gap so no child goes hungry in our community.
