Grow to Give is a away for school, community or home gardeners to give back to local kids and families experiencing hunger.

If you have excess produce, we'd love it for Backpack Society's No Cost Market and Family Food Boxes.

Community & Home Garden Donations​

• 1 squash or 20, quantities small and large are needed

• Please ring the door bell, or leave produce in our donation bin next to our front door on Wednesday or Thursday

• Arrange a drop off time by emailing us at info@backpacksociety.org

School Gardens

• The Grow to Give program allows schools to teach valuable gardening concepts and skills, integrating several subjects, such as math, science and health, with educational goals

• Backpack Society is a resource to help you create and maintain your school garden

• A way for schools to support Backpack Society by donating surplus produce not used for learning
